Tom Fedro

Tom is an artist from Chicago and he went to The Illinois Institute of Art. Since he was a kid, drawing and painting were his hobbies.

He paints in a variety of styles and uses colour and light.

Tom Fedro has exhibited his artwork in the United States and internationally and his work is currently in galleries both at his home and in Europe.

We were learning to use painting techniques. We had to use bold colours, both sides of the paint brush, bold lines and shade.

I enjoyed using water to blend the colours. I found it tricky making sure the colours didn't look the same.

  1. Kia Ora Charlotte,
I saw this art as you were creating it last week and was intrigued by it. I have never heard of Tom Fedro. Thank you for explaining a bit about him. Is the bottom picture one of his paintings?
I really like the bold colours you used which made each section stand out.

  2. Hi Charlotte, doing Tom Fedro art sounds so cool,it's a little bit like our Sandra Silverzweig art except she does lots of patterns and different colours.
